Being positive about negatives

My summer so far isn't so fun. My parents have been grumpy for working late and early. The kids are being themselves; irritating, loud, know it alls, and talk back. I've been stressing over all the chaos in this house! then to top it off all my friends flake out on all our activities that we've been planning since a month before summer. Like going to watch Karate Kid the first day it comes out. Nothing is going the way I want it to. I was grumpy and snappy for a couple of days, knowing that I shouldn't be for the kids. Having my parents being grumpy everyday is enough! Then there was this thing going around Facebook. People put as their status; If you like this status then I'll write something I like about you.
My big brother Conner Ahsue wrote>>My lil sister Iree
I like how cheerful u always are
I like how much u talk bout ur family which means u must love them a whole bunch
I like how ur always truthful and not shame to say anything:)<<>>Have a positive and happy attitude in everything you do! There's always a bright side when it comes to darkness. And as usual, the Brightness beats the Darkness to it's own game<<>

How do I know it's the right answer??

I pray all the time. I don't just pray for blessings but for help and to thank my heavenly father for the things I have. Like life. I prayed about something that has been on my mind since the 6th grade. The answer he gives me doesn't make sense. You see, I know the difference between the devil and Heavenly Father, and I'm sure that this answer is from Heavenly Father. But it still doesn't make sense. So since the sixth grade, I have ignored that answer because it just didn't seem right. But this year, I feel like I should listen to him. But I don't know how to. This is the first time in my whole entire life I have not known how to listen to somebody. Help!!

Is there such thing as "Mamas girl?"

I don't know if you understand my title, but thats basically what I am. Instead of "Mamas Boy," its gonna be "Mamas girl." Just for me, and all the girls out there who just love their mamas company :)

So I've been going to the dentist a lot to get those cavities fixed, and some appointments have been pretty fun and relaxing, and just horrifying!!! Well, One of the appointments, I had to be given a shot to make my mouth go numb. They gave me a shot, but they didn't tell me what it would do to me, they just shot. So after the first shot, I am just balling!!!! why? because the shot flippin made the inside of my face burn!! My eyes were closed at first, then when he shot me my eyes were huge! bigger then vickies!! shocker right??!! Anywho, after that shot he had to give me another. Right when he was about to give me that shot I yelled, "wait! let me say a prayer!" so he just shruggs and looks away while I say my prayer. I felt a whole lot better, and braver. Then the second time he was about to give me the shot, I yelled, " wait! my mom?" so he shrugged and asked the assistant dentist person whatever shes called to go grab my mom. My mom arrives and I'm just so relieved and I felt a whole lot better than when I said a prayer. I snatch her hand and she just calms me down and tells me I'm doin good. I can honestly say that I felt no pain at all. I mean, I had tears running down for like ever, but thats not because of the pain. It was because I was just so happy I can have a close person to hold on to during those diffucult times. I just kept telling her that I love her. I guess she was surprised at how many times I was saying it, it brought her to the point to ask me if I was on drugs. It was a very strong loving moment for me. I don't know about her. But for me, that experience just labeled me as "Mamas girl."

I am extremely happy that I have a mama. I am so grateful! My mom and I have had our ups and downs, but that never stops us to say "I love you." I love my mom. I know I've done some things to give her the idea that I don't love her. But I DO. If there was one thing I can say to her right at this moment, I would say, "mama I love you." Not just like a "ok mom Im leaving bye I love you!" type of bye. But a heart felt, emotional "I love you mama." She is such a hard worker. It means so much to me when she says that she tries to do some stuff for us on her days off, when I just know she wants to sleep all day!! Mothers day is gonna be a real surprise. 1) because we havent really gave her a present from "us" yah know. instead of my dad writing on the card, love me and the kids when really it was just him. and 2) she deserves it without a doubt. She deserves more than she deserves!

I LOVE YAH MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!

The Importance of family

**During this time, I actually didn't want to even think about my family. I mean I still love em, but they were getting on my nerves at the time. :) enjoy the blog!

One day I was walking to school. I missed seminary (thats when I get a ride from one of my friends from young womens) and I missed the school bus. I was so irritated especially when my dad told me to walk! My school is more than 2 miles away, and I only had less than half an hour to get there. I thought it was impossible. But, I didn't give in. So I'm walking thinking I know where to go, but then I get on a street where I just didn't know where I was at. It was pretty scary, but as I kept walking, I was on a street where one of my young womens leader lives. So I got a pretty good idea of where I was at. I'm walking and I constantly look back to check if anyone was walking behind me. No one. I walk past this wall, and I smell smoke, so I don't even think about looking at who's smoking. Then all of a sudden I hear foot steps in the back of me. I look and its someone walking right in back of me covering their face with their hoodie. It kind of gave me a bad vibe especially seeing the person covering their face with their hoodie. So I'm walking on the side of the road, and I walk as fast as I could. That person is walking as fast as she could. I walk up on the sidewalk, so does she. I go back on the road, so does she. I got real scared, so scared I was beginning to tear up cause I didn't want anything to happen to me. I was horrified. Why not? 1) this person is copying every move I make, 2)It seems like shes trying to catch up to me, and 3) shes covering her face. what is there not to be horrified about??!!! So I come to a stop--the street light thingy, and I'm waiting for the light to tell me I can walk. So, I'm crying, trying to figure out how I can get away from her, and BAM! the light turns for me to walk. I spint to the other side of the road and look back and see that shes walking back. I was relieved. I finally just drop to the floor and cry my eyes out. There's a bunch of thoughts going through my head; what if she wanted to kidnapp me??!! what did she want?? what would I do if she kept following me? then this thought bounced in-- I'm so glad I have a family. I'm glad to be loved by so many people.
That right there just made me appreciate them. I mean, it's not like I didn't appreciate them from the start, I just realized how much I appreciate them. More than, I thought I did. So fellow friends, don't regret being apart of your family just because they didn't give you what you want. Especially parents. Ugh, don't get me started. :) Be grateful, because people like that don't have anyone to turn to for things they need. I do. You do. :) Peace, and happiness! :)

Good influences vs. Bad influences

Hello there! It's been a while since I've blogged, only because crazy things have been happening, and I haven't had time to write about it. Like school. Ah, school. It's been some experience! There are different people who have different styles, and express themselves in different ways. Some ways are surprising, some are disturbing, some are just like me. Which is perfect! Anyway, it's a new week, and I just felt like I needed to clean my slaight and start fresh. Cause it's a new week, and I'm a freshman, that's the way I role--fresh! :) Anyway, for the past few weeks I've observed different things in high school. Like, the way people act. The way they dress, etc. It's interesting for me because even though people are different, they all get along. It's been a while since I've heard someone cussing out their enemy. It's been a while since I've seen girls give me that look that they're way to good for me. It's been a while since I've seen a circle of students all shouting, "ooh!" or "wooh!" during a fight. But! it hasn't been long since I've heard the F bomb go off, or the B bomb, or the S bomb. you get it. don't ya? I'm sure you do. I gotta be honest with you, I've struggled with that a lot! After hearing all the bombs go off, I kind of thought about doing it myself. I'm growing up with a bunch of Samoans cussing to their kids, it doesn't seem like a big deal. I have a friend who is and LDS, and she just acts as if shes not LDS. Shes always throwin the bombs in our conversations. It bothers me because she just acts like shes in love with Heavenly Father at church, but once shes away from the chapel, shes a girl gon' wild!! So, I knew I didn't want people talking about me being like that. So I just forgot about thinking about it! Everyday my dad tells me to be a good girl, and I say don't count on it. It is pretty funny. And it seems like a easy task to do. WRONG! It's hard to be yourself. Especially when you want a bunch of people to like you--fit in. I honestly don't care about "fitting in." It's a waste of time. A waste of energy. I got enough people in my life that I know LOVE ME. Let me tell you who brought all those wise comments in my head, 1) Heavenly Father 2) My parents 3) My church leaders 4) you. I thought about all 4 things and just knew that if I stooped down to their level, all of those people listed will be disappointed with me. I'm proud and happy to be a Mormon. I'm proud to know what's right and important. I'm proud to have you in my life! to help me walk that straight and narrow path Heavenly Father want's me to walk. I know satan has jumped out of the bush a couple of times, but you and especially Heavenly Father were there to push him back into the bush. Thanks. For everything. :) Have a great week!
